My little herb garden is doing very well. I've never seen a sage plant get so big. I have rosemary, basil, oregano, sage, mint, peppermint, lavendar, lettuce and dahlias.

There's a ferry that leaves from Edmonds, an Amtrak station and a nice little beach with a couple of seafood restaurants so there are always plenty of people hanging out there. The weather was beautiful and gave us a great view of Mt. Baker [the big white mountain behind the ferry].

I went to a local farmer's market near the UW campus. The fruits & veggies were really colorful and perfect. I bought a few things for dinner and a $5 bunch of flowers. It was a special Berry Spectacular weekend. I don't know if you've ever had Tayberriers. The look like blackberriers but are the color of raspberries. They taste like wine, maybe a sangioviese.
